What is Zumba?
Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their
worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be "Fun and Easy to Do" allowing Zumba participants to stick to the
Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a "feel happy" workout that is great for both the mind and the body.
ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness
system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt
the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat
burning, and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with east to follow dance steps.
Is the instructor qualified? Kim Richson-Bell, MS, of Clarksburg, has Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University's School of Medicine, where she was awarded "Most Outstanding Master of Science Student," in 2006.
Kim has worked as a clinical Exercise Physiologist in WVU's Human Performance Lab and was a researcher and the Project Manager for the West Virginia Games for Health Project, which is aimed at using Dance Dance Revolution to target childhood obesity. Kim owns and operates In Step School of Dance in Clarksburg, where her Adult Fitness Program has shown much success. Kim is also an ACE certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor and has received certificates to instruct Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Kids, Zumba Gold, which is focused on the extremely deconditioned and individuals in wheelchairs. Kim currently works as an Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer at the YMCA, where she is the Health & Fitness Coordinator.

The In Step Fit Club is a new way to meet your fitness goals. ISFC is here to motivate you by offering a wide variety of fitness
options to help you enjoy a healthier lifestyle while having fun and making new friends.
In Step Fit Club has group fitness classes, personal training, fitness assessments, blood pressure & heart rate monitoring, blood
glucose monitoring, exercise prescription, nutritional guidance, and special activities that are only offered to club members. All
club benefits are overseen by a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor.
ISFC has 3 levels of membership tailored to fit your needs. Whether you want to get more exercise or would prefer one on one
guidance with nutrition and personal training, ISFC has the program for you. So, if you want to lose weight, maintain your
current weight, help control your blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, arthritis, and lead a healthier lifestyle, In Step Fit
Club can help you reach your goals!
