Joey Franklin...

grew up in a small home in Kentucky with four older sisters, only three hours away from the home of Elvis Presley in Memphis, Tennessee.  "With four sisters and their girlfriends over all the time, there was plenty of music being played.  The first time I heard Elvis' voice on the record player I was drawn to it.  I would sing for my mama and occasionally to my sister's girlfriends.  I was shy when it came to singing!"  It would not be until after high school that anyone, other than his family, would hear him sing.

Joey performed for the first time outside of his home state in January 2002 in Laughlin Nevada.  It was a night to remember for Joey; at stage left stood the legendary Jordanaires.  "I don't think I have ever been so nervous.  I opened with "C C Rider" and the Lord knew I needed some encouragement.  I looked left towards the Jordanaires, just like Elvis would have done, and one of them was looking at the others saying "Hey, this guy is good."  I'll never forget it!"

Joey's rendition of "NEVER BEEN TO SPAIN" was the number one requested song in November of 2003 on www.elviradio.com.

Since Elvis loved the Vegas crowds, Joey too has decided to perform under the neon lights performing as Elvis.  Joey approaches each of his performances with the heart of "The King."  You will be astonished as his voice takes you back to the time that Elvis ruled Las Vegas with a golden voice, jet black hair, sequined suits, and rocks for rings!

Since arriving in Las Vegas in 2004, Joey has been living his dream!  Joey performed as Elvis in the stage production "HAIL, HAIL ROCK N ROLL" and the stage shows "A TOUCH OF ELVIS" and "THE SPIRIT OF THE KING".  He won the official title "The King of Las Vegas" and was the exclusive Elvis for the world famous LITTLE WHITE WEDDING CHAPEL.  Joey performed at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway awards banquet, for the world famous boxer Oscar De La Hoya's wedding anniversary, at "SELFRIDGES" in London, England, had a guest appearance on the TV show "THIS MORNING" London, England and "BBC RADIO" London, England, performed at a wedding in the "LAW LIBRARY" Edinburgh, Scotland, on MTV Italy, "THE TONIGHT SHOW" with Jay Leno, for Paige Davis of the hit television show "Trading Spaces", and made guest appearances on the TV shows "Taquita and Kaui", "Split Ends and "What Not to Wear".  He has also appeared for TED Airline, Cessna, Denny's, Bona and more!!!
